Killing children as a systematic act by Syrian regime

Yesterday, tens of thousands of mourners in the Syrian capital Damascus participated in a massive protest during the funeral of a 10 years old boy Ibrahim Al Shibani who was killed on Friday by Syrian security forces. On Friday, Ibrahim went with his father to the mosque for noon prayer, when he and his father got out from the mosque a group of peaceful civilian protestors gathered to participate in the protests against President Bashar Assad and his crimes. Suddenly, the "brave" security forces opened fire on the civilians killing the little boy and others were injured.

We saw footages of Ibrahim when he was in the hospital and doctors were trying to revive his life in vain. Footages of his father crying, praying and cursing the president were also published. Many Syrians around the world participated in the funeral when activists inside Syria broadcasted online the funeral and the demonstration live by using cellphones. At the same time, the Syrian regime was trying to lie to the world saying no massive demonstrations took place in Damascus, but the regime's media never talked about holding responsibility for those who killed the boy. The regime sometimes intend to kill children in a systematic act in order to scare people and send a message to its opponents that this what will happen to your love ones if you are against the regime.

About 200 children were killed in Syria by security forces, some were savagely tortured in prisons. Still, UN security council fails to take any resolution to protect civilians under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter.
