About Me:
Founder and CEO of ChunriChoupaal- Enabling Women Leaders

Background:
A Pakistani activist and researcher currently based in Amsterdam and founder of many youth-led non-profit initiatives in Pakistan and Netherlands. Her initiative ChunriChoupaal aims to empower women through fostering ICTs. She is also the owner of Gill Nonprofit consulting which aims to help NGOs and nonprofits maximise their potential through the use of digital media. She started her career as youth activist with Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, Multan in 2003. A member of Pakistan IT Policy Working Group, her research interests include women & youth entrepreneurship, women rights, digital empowerment of women, digital literacy, and new media cultures through proliferation of ICTs in developing countries.
