Introducing myself and my journal: Passion puts Love into Action

About Me:
I am a passionate Nigerian from the "Treasure Base Region", where the black gold flows but poverty stinks. I am a people person, therefore, I love people, especially children and women, because they are flexible and easy to learn, adapt, and are passionate, therefore the greatest manifestors of change. This is why I work for Development - to: help, assist and bring positive change. My other passions are deeply rooted in research and creativity that makes me a dreamer. Not a mere dreamer, I must say, but a doer of the dreams through associating, building, cooperating, transforming, researching, etc.

I am a trained development worker, with degrees in Education and Peace and Conflict Transformation. I work for a European Union project called Increasing Non-State Actors Implementation and Development Expertise (EU-INSIDE),a capacity building project for non-state actors as the Programme Mentor for the South/South region of Nigeria. My job is an interesting one, because it opens me up to - Non-governmental organisations (NGOs), organised private sector, government actors and communities. And how great it feels to facilitate and work towards building lives to achieve positive change.

One of the most interesting groups I work with are the "weak" NGOs, and how I love to propel them towards achieving their strengths. Well, enough talk for now, so please permit me to stop here. Talk to you later!

My Passions:
Love - people, work, change, interactions, research and travels

My Challenges:
Poor internet and telephone networks.

My Vision for the Future:
To see a better world where people realise the true meaning of love and relations.

My Areas of Expertise:
Education, Peace and conflict Transformation, Politics, Development and Psychology.
