Founder of Inside Africa Foundation, a UK based voluntary group aspiring to provide social and business leadership education programs that encourage young Africans to make innovative suggestions and taking action that create positive change and real impact in their African communities. Founded in October 2008, IAF is devoted to transforming young Africans to become responsible people capable of critical thinking, able to work across cultural, religious and political divide differences whilst building networks. The Foundation believes in fostering a culture among these young people who feel inspired, valued, and empowered to succeed as community and business leaders. The initiative is designed to educate, challenge and motivate young Africans through training, sports and artistic programs that highlight the importance of civic education and social responsibility in today's diversified world.
Educating and developing a socially responsible generation of young Africans has never been more urgent. Nor has it ever offered high-potential individuals and communities more opportunities and challenges. Today's complex, rapidly changing global social and marketplace constantly presents problems that demand socially responsible young persons. Developing and deploying high-potential young persons who can achieve greater innovation and results can foster an essential competitive advantage.
Inside Africa Foundation believes that tomorrow's African leaders must come from a "New Generation of today's young people" whose driving motivations differ fundamentally from those of today's leaders. Inside Africa Foundation seeks to contribute towards the development of this "New Generation” of responsible young Africans that are driven largely by the need for self-direction and security instead of command/control leadership. IAF'S thrust is "prudent trailblazing" for the purpose of striking new direction without risking emotional stability. The difference between current leaders and the future generation of young Africans can create benefits and hurdles for high-potential individuals, communities and nations.
IAF has developed programs and activities that will help young Africans contribute towards the development of their social and business communities. These programs are based on future needs, statistical analysis, observations, research and surveys done in different African communities.
