When I called Mariam had told me about her story, and I hurt from the depths of myself.

Mary has the information that was in the age of 8 months moved orphanage and after was 8 years old an Iranian family adopted her and now she is 27 years old .

The family that adopted Mariam told her that she was not real daughter.

After that Mariam did not believe what they told to her so she tested DNA in an Iran Hospital to herself and the family that adopted but the result of her test was disappointed to her , so Mariam begun to search for the orphanage where she was in 8 months , when she found the place and search all files for children in the history of 18.03.1988 in the orphanage and she got an image for itself in that year, with the biography of her life at that age Mariam was from north of Iraq, Kurdistan region in the Halabja city.

The city of Halabja was attacked by Saddam Hussein in 1988, in this attack civilian kurdish people were target and used chemical weapons as a result killed 5,000 innocent people, mostly women and children, and injured 7,000 people so far suffer from diseases because of these weapons

The story of Mariam was started when Iranian soldiers entered the city after chemical weapons attack to the and they found there were many people, including children still alive life. The people most of them children were survived and the injury people bring them to Iran

When Mariam knew her saddens story she decided travel to the northern Iraq (Kurdistan region) and to Halabja city and she hopes that her family is in life and visited every family that have children missing in this event and all the families begin to examine the DNA test until Mariam is waiting for the result of the test.

But the future is unknown for Mariam because she will not know will be the daughter of one of these families? or what will the future brings to her if she is not the daughter of one of these families? when Mariam now without any place and without family in the kurdistan region we know iraq is the country full of tragedy event for women live in it.
