About Me: I'm worried about the world. My treasured children and those of others will reside here long after my voice fades. I want that voice to have counted for something. I want to be a catalyst among many for positive, sustainable change. That way I play a part in the world and lives I love.

My Passions: Rights of children

My Challenges: Discipline

My Areas of Expertise: Writing, researching, constantly learning and knowing there are no 'dumb' questions

Thank you Fatima! I am happy to be on this journey with women like you, too! I am really looking forward to learning to find my 'voice' and hope to help others do the same. Take care, Irum

What has struck me since I joined is the sense of female pride here. Many women have stopped to comment on my wall and let me know they are glad to have me aboard. The postings of others regarding their lives and the things they hold dear are so passionate and resonate with the essence of the female ability to tap into the emotions and senses. There is so much power in this kind of unity. When any group of people believe deeply in something and join hands to make a change the world tilts for those few moments in time and things are never the same. I get the sense that my sisters here are seeking to do some tilting and I am happy to be one of this sea of many, a piece of the overarching unity seen here.
