My assets

These are three pictures of my assets.

The first one shows dance students from the University of Malta and the Head of Department performing a flash mob in Pjazza Tigne', Sliema for the One Billion Rising Malta. OBR is an international event to raise awareness about violence against women, which takes places every year on Valentine's day. My NGO organised this year's OBR, as well as a number of other awareness-raising events in the lead-up to Valentine's Day. Students and teachers were involved in the campaign and the Dance department has already inquired about participating in next year's event.

The second photo was taken at Victim Support Europe's annual conference. VSE is an umbrella organization bringing together all victim support organizations in Europe and beyond. I attended this event and connected with many people who work in the field, as well as survivors who shared their experiences. We are currently discussing joint project applications with some of the people I met at the conference.

The third photo is a photo of a beach in Malta. In my spare time I work as a Zumba instructor, and I have just started teaching Zumba classes on the beach to raise funds for my NGO. The beach is a free space, and there's nothing better than dancing near the water and for a good cause !
