It is exciting to see our community rallying voices around an urgent unified topic - like the issue of LGBT Rights and the pending anti-gay legislation in Uganda. Voices from Zimbabwe, Kenya, Cameroon, Italy and Sweden have weighed in on the issue and what the implications are for not only members of the LGBT community, but as society a whole. To make this Action Blogging Campaign truly ACTION oriented, we wanted to take it a step further. At the end of the month, World Pulse will compile your journals and send your collective of voices to Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni and other members of Parliament. So by writing in your journal, your voice can reach the halls of power to influence legislation!
