Handle all women during childbirth with care and respect..This is very wrong!!

Child bearing is a gift and an awesome experience by any mother. Its a time when mothers expect to bring to life another member of their family. The moment is filled with anxiety and mixed emotions for both parents and the medical team.
One of the beauties of being a woman is the knowledge that one day, you will have children and make one happy family or home. The worst you could ever imagine or face is a mother being mishandled during child birth.
It's therefore becomes very disturbing to hear sad and uncomfortable reports of women being mistreated, neglected and even slapped during this child bearing procedure which comes naturally.
It's unfortunate that this incident happened in my own community just recently.
One woman was treated unfairly and without due care and respect by the very people she run to for help, The hospital care givers. Our beloved nurses.
The services offered by the hospital team , from the doctors, nurses and other care givers can never be under estimated, they give up so much to offer help to patients and mothers with a zeal, passion and dedication thats admirable They are always out of their comfort to support and even offer care when all other members of the family have deserted a patient.
I fully comment them.
It's however very sad to note that a few nurses mistreated a poor woman who ended up giving birth on the cold floor and forced to walk away to a room even before she could clear the child bearing procedure. Am yet to know her mistakes.

Some people have come out and blamed the State for introducing free maternity in all public Hospitals without hiring more medical personnel, its a good point, but is it reason enough for the mistreatment?
This is very wrong, for whatever justification or reason, it was an inhumane act and we condemn it in all manner possible.
I want to encourage and advice all the care givers to do unto others what you would like it done to you or daughter.
Could you pause for a while and imagine how you could feel or behaved had that been your sister, mother or daughter?
My sincere appeal to the administration of all Hospitals and this particular one in Bungoma Kenya, Please take into consideration the welfare of mothers at all ages,
Help the personnel in all maters so they can handle the mounting pressure from their work.
Am sharing the link here so that women and men from all over could learn and respect the procedure of child bearing.Lets all respect and help women at their hour of need.
Society would be a better place to be if we all embraced our duties and responsibility with due care and with Love.

Because am a woman, i love more and i take up my responsibility with that same love and passion. Lets be the change we want and all others will follow our example.
