About Me: I'm currently a volunteer with TechnoServe Kenya's Young Women in Enterprise program. We work to provide free business training to young women aged 15 to 22 in the slums of Nairobi so they can help themselves and their families out of poverty. We operate under the initiative put forth by the Nike Foundation, the Girl Effect believing that real change can take place by empowering a young girl. I am passionate about women's empowerment and justice in the developing world. I enjoy writing and photography and traveling with my husband.
