VOF WEEK 2: MAKING THE RIGHT CHOICE

having been brought up by a single parent and in this case a dad and having no idea about how your mum looks like after i was left by mum when i was only eight months had to face the world with determination and a strong spirit.
i knew not what the colour of my mum was like how she looked like i could not tell and whether she was short or tall could not tell either but wanted to have an idea about all that. so as days passed by i became persistent to my father ask him day and night how mum was like what kind of a woman was she like and dad had no reason to hide the truth from me.
The more I knew about her the more i felt self pity and i had to make a choice not letting her absence affect me strongly knowing that my mum was a hero in her own ways? I grew knowing that the world is not a playground where you wake up and go play there instead it is a place full of misery full of happiness full of joy and struggles but all the choice is mine as my life is in my hands and i should mould it to something good or something unpleasant .
You know how sometimes dad can be and when born dad was 80 years, i could not tell him most of the things. when i graduated to teenage and adulthood could not tell him what was happening had to handle everything on my own including making my own sanitary pads from my old clothes, lack of counseling and lack of attention and i had to act like a mother to my own self and therefore becoming strong.
Not raised by a mother but you are now, should you allow your child to suffer like you did , allow yourself be carried away by self pity and do the unwanted abortion oh no you have to make the right choice and i made the right choice of standing by my baby no matter what and accept the consequence of my choice and face it bravery as a mum and as a woman with determination.
i face the life chose to help others and chose the right path as i looked for the right channel to help me reach more women i came across the web 2.0 which is helping me reach them hear them talk and share with them and am at peace with this site. web 2.0 is the right channel for me to use to be heard and to learn from. am a woman who never allows anything, any one to stand on my way and especially when it comes to the good of my son and my fellow women.
