The Riots in Pictures



These pictures show how the police threw gas to people who were manifesting their unhappiness in the streets. There has been 10 young man arrested by the police, two wounded people and two wounded policemen. There were poor and middle class people rejecting the decree that increases the price of gasoline in 83%, fuel oil in 95% and diesel in 80%. "Evo betrayed the poor, and is inefficient, so he either derogates the decree, or resigns" was the slogan in the streets.



Women trying to impede the arrests were harassed by the police and trucks and buses were blowing their horns showing their discomfort with the measures. Today the transportation strike was total in the whole country, with bigger trucks and buses blocking the streets.
