Web 2.0 means the world to me. I have discovered it. I am not leaving it. No way. This page came to me as a surprise. It unexpectedly changed my life. I never imagined I would have the awesome opportunity to read what you people have to say about your lives. Or that I would be able to tell you about my feelings, my thoughts and my heart's desires. There is no way to explain how I felt the first time somebody answered my post. I had no experience in this, so I didn't know if someone actually had read my post, and wondered if anyone would be interested on the theme I touched, but I didn’t have to wait very long for an answer. And here I am. Happier than a kid with a new toy. Can’t wait to read your answers, that fill my soul with hope and joy. The power that comes from within, is the real power. Yours and mine. Ours. That is the kind of power that we will find together through this awesome tool. When we read about something, sooner or later it will be transferred into our community, thousands of miles away from where the thought was first written. By the power of our written word, we will be united, fight for our dreams, dream of a new future, and of course, share our laughter, our tears, our victories and defeats. This is what will lead us to become more powerful: a new way of communicating the world that we know who we are and what we want and that we will get it, in our own terms. NOW. This path can change the one thing we need to change all over the world: the way us, women, see ourselves. We will surely grow on self esteem, but even more important, we will help others to build their own pride. PROUD TO BE PART OF THIS, conscious of the road, ready for the change. Feeling already more powerful.

Hi Jackie,

It's inspiring to read of your enthusiasm for web 2.0 and the personal success, joy and companionship you have experienced on PulseWire. I have followed your journal entries and you bring a wonderful perspective to this forum, especially as a woman from South America, an area that has little representation here on PulseWire. Thank you for sharing your joy and success with web 2.0!

Warm regards, jade

Thank you for reading me Jade! The best part of PulseWire is the fact that I am eager to plug into the internet to see the new posts, and they always bring some pleasant surprises. For instance, right now it's 1am and before going to sleep my ego and my spirit have been uplifted by your kind words.

I wish our Pulse lasts forever, gets better and better, and leads us to new and exciting places.

Love ya,

Hello Jackie,

Your words are very heart felt and inspiring. They lead me to read further other entries that you have posted, which I found to be very interesting journals. Besides web 2.0 being a very powerful tool to share your thoughts and hear the voices of others, how else has it helped you and in what other ways? I would have loved to read more on this and maybe a direct experience. You seem to be using this tool wonderfully to post your stories, this is so great to see, read and learn from you in this way.

Great luck to you with assignment #2.

Kind regards, Theresa

I am sorry it has taken me so long to answer. I was trying to figure out a good answer to your question, but had no luck. Until today. I think it has helped me realize I need to learn a lot about web 2.0 and about blogging. With the third assignment about blogging I have started a research about blogging, and I hope that soon I will have sketched how and what about I want to have my blog to be. This is how PulseWire is helping me in the real world.

I will let you know. Thanks for the patience.
