First Day of The People´s Summit on Climate Change in Photographs

In the first day of the People´s Summit on Climate Change, the first climate that changed is the size of events in Bolivia, as this has proven to be the biggest gathering that has taken place in the country. All hotels are full and delegates keep arriving, so tents had to be set in spaces near to the centers where the meeting is taking place.

The highlight of the day has been the inaugural speech from President Evo Morales, who reminded the audience that plastic, coca cola and transgenic food are the cause for cancer, obesity and boldness, showing off his thick and lucious hair. He also pointed out that the Rights of Mother Earth should be sketeched in this meeting, as well as a proposal for the creation of an International Court of Justice that will judge crimes against Mother Earth and will work for stopping transnationals from killing Mother Nature.

Enjoy the pictures of the first day.
