Rape, Rape, Rape

To what degree of extent can the world join efforts to fight RAPE??? Am just watching news right now and there's a lady who was gang-raped last coming from overnight prayer! SERIOUSLY???? What is wrong with men who commit such crimes??
I guess we all have so many questions that run in our heads when we hear, watch news or even get to learn of such atrocities!! The worst part of it is that, for most of the time all we do is just feel pity, then may be say a short prayer for the victims something which is very absurd.

There are so many organizations that have come up to deal with such cases but my worry is that most of them do care and give counseling to the victims who have been traumatized rather than deal with rapists!! For all I know they are all equally important. We do appreciate all the efforts made though!!

In addition, most of these organizations are in only capital cities of most countries hence neglecting rural areas. Those in the cities outnumber those in villages or remote areas. So many girls and women are living dark lives, they have no one to run to.

Rape is becoming the order of the day in Uganda and more so gang- raping! It's so troubling and very disturbing when you get to learn that women and girls are losing their lives to merciless men as a result of rape. We need to join efforts in not only treating those who are raped but also to fight the rapist.
