To all on the VERGE, about to CONVERGE:

A big shout out from World Pulse Headquarters where we are busily preparing for your arrival and our long-awaited time together!

At last we have the ULTIMATE Advisory Package for you. Contained in this email you will find more about. • Outcomes/Overview • The attached Logistical Packet • Forthcoming World Pulse organizational packet • Requested Donation Costs

I cannot wait for this! I do not think the rooms will be able to contain the electricity of our collective minds. Most of you have weighed on your desired outcomes and we have done our very best to incorporate as much as possible into the agenda

Outcomes =Rock THE WORLD!!! -Bond, Celebrate and Connect -A clear view of Advisory’s work for next 2 years that supports the World Pulse strategic vision, individually and as a whole. -Provide input on structure and working relationship between World Pulse Board, Advisory and Staff. SYNERGY, YO! -Leave inspired, informed, with an Action Plan, able to connect the World Pulse vision to your own life.

The Big Picture: I am thrilled because this gathering represents a powerful step towards the strengthening and streamlining of World Pulse’s support systems and human potential.

Although this is slated as an Advisory Board Retreat, it much more than that this time. It is a precious opportunity to cross-pollinate human intelligence with a few members of our Board of Directors (which is in an exciting ‘rebirth’ phase) and a few members of our incredible staff who will be in attendence. In all ways, I am seeking to increase the synergy within – and between - our enormously talented advisory networks and boards. We are all share a common goal to move World Pulse forward with our unique contributions. I believe that the more we can bond and share our strength the better we serve women worldwide. That said, separate time is planned for the Advisory Board to formulate her own distinct vision and role for the future!

Attached Logistical Packet contains: • Names of guests and contact information • Carpool details • Directions • Maps • Agenda • Bios of Advisory Board/Board/Staff attending

When you arrive at the retreat you will receive another packet, a World Pulse organizational packet, with supplementary materials. You will likely not use all of these, but they are tools to help inform and advise you to the activities of the World Pulse universe!

World Pulse Organizational Packet: • Organizational Executive Summary • Upcoming Editorial Themes • Organizational Chart with Advisory Boards • Advisory Board Role Description • Board of Director Role Description • Other Advisory Groups o Editorial Guide Council o Marketing Council o Business Advisory Council • Cambodia Trip Description and Attendees • Pomegranate fundraising goal chart • Key Needs • Partnerships • 2007 Advisory Board Visioning Notes
