WorldPulse in Kenya!

When I first joined Worldpulse in 2009, I always dreamt of this moment. I could always feel her pulse even though we were oceans and races away. But hey, it happened! Through this power of connections, it happened yesterday. I saw her, I felt her, I hugged her! Kenya was turned in to a global village yesterday; white, brown, dark skins all sharing smiles, sharing space, breathing the same are and amplifying their voices together because of one woman's dream. I give it up to Jensine Larsen for dreaming and acting on the dream; so that we were all able to sit and share in the same room because of her dream.

My dear sisters, the chorus of voices that we shared yesternight is surely a force that will change the vision of this country regarding women. I was inspired; i felt stronger, braver and the vision became clearer. It is indeed true that action and change begins with an individual; thanks to the inspiration that i got yesterday from fellow pulsewire members in Kenya and the WorldPulse crew.

Hey, have a peek at the photos..

Yes Jade, it happened. We really missed you. We hugged face to face, something that most of us in Kenya only thought about in dream. But here they were with all the smiles and warm hugs. It was really amazing. Thanks to all of you for making this happen.

Many many hugs to Scott and everyone back in the office.

    Darling Jade,

My love for you Jade i don't have words to express that love. How i wish you came i see you face to face and share with the WORLD PULSE Team the excitement and photos. The friendly sharing we have been sharing with you on line makes me ask so many Questions in my heart why you were left out while the World Pulse Team came to Kenya.

Please, i request JOANNE to share with the rest of the World Pulse Members the GROUP PHOTO that was taken at HERON COURT HOTEL. Most of the Women Leaders were included in that GROUP PHOTO.

Hoping that one day, in GOD's miraculous ways we shall meet face to face.

    GOD bless you. AMEN.

Thanks dear Julia. I feel that WorldPulse is a platform that will unite collective voices and raise them to a higher pedestal as women. I was so touched by the crew, and i can now boast of new friends, not just virtually but those that we had a face to face interaction. It is a platform that will enable us move beyond barriers and be able to transform the world in to what we want it to be.

    Hugs from Kenya,

Subhadra, you can say that again! It is through such inspirations that our visions for a better world becomes larger and clearer. And we surely need this global power to turn the world in to what we want it to be; to recreate it in our own creative way so that it can embrace anyone despite colour, race, gender or any other diverse disparities that make us look different. And yes, we can do it.

    Many hugs from Kenya,
