Introducing myself and my journal: Fountain Girls

About Me:
I worked with Harbour Center Cameroon as a project coordinator. When I finished my studies and needed employment I personally experienced a lot of challenges and it took me a long time to get a small job. This little job could only permit me to get little money for my taxi and monthly basic needs. From this challenge, I understood and realized how more difficult it could be for the under privilege girls and women who are often not educated ( school dropped outs) or have no one to stand beside them. My work with Harbour Center has been to help in off rooting the real causes of poverty amongst the under privilege girls and women in Cameroon and making them proud and standing tall like Fountains of water (a resource and a harbour center for the world). My working experienced with many under privilege girls and women shows that about 85% often would like to be involved in small businesses and unfortunately, they often lack the business skills to ignite and accelerate change in what they do. My intervention in their world is to help in bringing a meaningful transformation from a bottom top approach; incubating and training them with business skills for them to be able to express their full potentials even without a good educational base or a professional education. Why this intervention? When every one has food to eat, the world would be more stable and it would be more stable when the under privilege is leading change in every community in the world; the world will have more than enough for every body Hence peace, education and good health for every one. Thanks
