Introducing myself and my journal: The Golden Butterfly

About Me:
I am an employee of a maverick company, The FAIR Hiring Initiative, working towards improving the lives of Filipino contract workers worldwide by adhering to the global ethical manpower standards in the recruitment, selection and placement of workers. Before my present employment, I worked for 25 years with a non-government organization committed to women empowerment. Am a charter member of Women Enablers, Advocates and Volunteers for Empowering and Responsive Solutiions (WEAVERS), Inc., an association of women advocating towards alleviating the status of women in the home, the community and the workplace.

I thank my WEAVERS sister, Pauline Lawsin-Nayra, for introducing me to World Pulse as is it presents the viewpoints of grassroots women and provides a space to voice freely one's opinion.
