Freedom of Expression

English translation by community member eogland.

Freedom: it comes from the word freed, that means to have peace everywhere except in cases of abuse or wrongdoing.

As we would say, the expression “cheated” is often used. In our country of the Democratic Republic of Congo, the government moves away from us, the woman, in terms of protection and responsibility so that we will be useful to ourselves and to the community. The government takes men into consideration while women are devastated. In fact, the Congolese Government takes this faraway precaution to make us understand our grievances and to protect us like men. Why does one use women like an object or a tool? So we want this part to be shared evenly. Then we will be regarded well like men. The first quality of a women is to have peace, total security, and good dignity on a moral, physical and material standpoint. A Congolese woman praises the government if it delivers to all our bodily needs. From now on we don’t want to be raped because this problem is essential. To close, please bring our needs into application because we are devastated with the law. We say this, and we thank you.
