Introducing myself and my journal: addressing transformative behavior change to prevent domestic violence



About Me:
I am a medical graduate from Sofia Higher Medical Academy. Later, I did my masters in Health Evaluation Sciences from University of Virginia, USA. I am active in public health since 1991. I have learnt how to design and implement a comprehensive women health program for women and children at rural, semi rural and urban setting for low income population and also for marginalized women like sex workers. I have also learnt how to use research findings in the implementation of communication and campaign for influencing national plans, policies, and laws for reducing domestic violence against women.



I am married with two children.

How to contribute to make local government institutions functional for grassroots women

Institutional accountability strenghtened and the rule of laws are practiced

design, implement, and evaluate Sexual & reproductive health; gender and violence against women, HIv/AIDS
