Introducing myself and my journal: LET YOURSELF BLOSSOM

About Me:
I have had an incredibly fortunate life so far

I left school at 16 with a handful of GSCE’s and on to work in the office environment. I enjoyed this however always knew deep down that there was more to life that the 9-5 with so many rules and regulations.

I had always been interested in the health and beauty industry and it felt a very natural step at 22 to have a change of career and open my first nail studio. This didn’t come easy as I didn’t have the funds initially, however with the financial help from the Princes Trust, and lots of help and belief my closest friends and family I went for it. So I became self employed and loved it! My Nail studio was by far one of the best in the area. I went on to open 2 further studios, became a Master Nail technician and employed over 15 staff. I taught NVQ nails too at college. Most of the girls I worked with I coached, gave them confidence in the industry and helped to become great technicians have now gone on to own their own salons and be very successful.

I have spent the last 8 years, since the birth of my daughter in no mans land, really trying to discover who I am and why I am here. I sold my shops as I felt I wanted to be a full time mum. What actually happened was that I lost all my confidence and stayed behind a computor at home trying to work out life! I have studied people so much and I read and research daily. My gift is to listen and help people through their own challenges and to help them build their own confidence and belief in themselves.

Being self employed can be very challenging at times, however I am fully in charge of my life, and future. I actually could not go back to being employed now. I answer to me and I am responsible for how my life is moving forward. I take holidays when I want to and I work hard to create a lifestyle which is fun and very rewarding.

I don’t see enough joy around, daily I see stressed out friends, colleagues and people. My aim is to show you how, when you find your confidence you then start to find your own true niche and passion, then happiness and success comes 100 fold.

It is all in the mindset and most of us just need help to discover the real us and not what we have been programmed to think throughout our lives.

I now help small businesses grow with Confidence by guiding them to have Clarity, Confidence and Courage to attract more Clients and make more money doing what they love.
