Introducing myself and my journal: "Ignorance" of the humankind

About Me:
Being raised from a traditional home where superstition and negative stereotypes associated with women are dominant, i did not find anything wrong with women and children not consulted in decision making and i did not see anything wrong with the incessant beating and molesting of women and children because i only attributed that to correctional measures. Life and time has thought me lessons with the attainment of higher education. This has motivated me in my work as development work to fully integrate women and children into the work for sustainable development. I have organized several sensitization and capacity building workshops for women and the foundation of development is dependent on women and children. I have being a leader in all my training process and was even the then administrative head of students at the University for Development Studies in Ghana and i have come to realize also that the advocacy work for the eradication of GBV depends on me, you, her/him and them.

My Passions:
Men, Women, Youth, Children and the Old living in harmony where everyone has the opportunity for development and to add to the development process. Passion for fair and equitable human development process

My Challenges:
No adequate platforms being provide to do what means most to me- pursuing my passion

My Vision for the Future:
A world devoid of discrimination on grounds of sex, age, race or religion

My Areas of Expertise:
Development Work (project management, advocacy and mobilisation)
