Introducing myself and my journal: Graceful Exposures

About Me:
In my ongoing passion to discover the purpose behind pain and suffering, I use photography to understand the two better. Along the way, I have met God’s grace in capturing those moments. As a result, I have learned that the path of suffering does not need to end with pain. With some light and digging that perhaps there is more beneath surface. Photography has become a tool for me to dig beneath that surface of bleakness to hopefully, reveal that light .
This body of work reflects my attempt to entwine the aesthetic and documentary styles of photography. In doing so, I strive to dissect the concept of hope and God’s Grace through lighting, composition, or toning of my photographs. I hope you choose to join me on this journey. Through sharing my photographs, I hope that viewers may see ’ the growth of Grace’ in ordinary, painful, and beautiful moments in this broken world.
