Introducing myself and my journal: EVERYDAY CONCERN FOR WOMEN

About Me:
I am a Journalist and community social worker. I run an NGO known as "Everyday Concern", a non-profit and non-sectoral organization that mobilizes women into a cohesive network that offers them opportunity to form groups to analyse their situations and galvanize voices. I use my NGO to mobilize support for improved livelihoods of the most vulnerable in the society, nay, women. My organization utilizes all forms of media to bring to the fore, the plight of women and children, particularly, those in the impoverished communities. women who have benefited from our training programmes come out more assertive and competent to take up the challenges posed in getting involved in community decision-making processes.

My Passions:
To reasonably increase the number of empowered households in the commununities, through my Organization's Campaign Project, "Taking Education To the Door-steps Of the Rural people"

My Vision for the Future:
To see a world where everyone has equal access to the services they need to live healthy and useful in the society.

My Areas of Expertise:
Publicity, Advocacy/Sensitization, Training, Mobilization and Development
