I'm a listener first and a speaker second. I wish to amplify the voices of others so all perspectives are equally valuable to the conversation of how we better our world. Reading the news, I believe in the power of staying positive in order to keep moving forward. I'm an undergraduate student at Lewis & Clark College, yoga teacher, community builder, and friend. Academically, I study International Affairs, French, and Environmental Studies. Personally, I study how to make my interactions with others more meaningful and productive. I'm Kayla and I'm here to listen, learn, and travel.

My Challenges: Challenging the limitations I place on myself. Accepting that the future is unknown.
