Dream of a village Girl

Like many other girls it was normal for Anita to dream a sweet dream.
Anita is a village girl deprived of well education, well dress, well habitation, even well care of parents.
Her parents are comparatively poor and her father has to work hard from dawn to dusk everyday to earn bread for the hungry stomach of his wife Mira, daughter Anita and himself.
Being a daughter of such a poor parents what can she expect?
She knew even at her early life when she should know nothing that she can expect nothing except cherishing a dream of having a family of her own.
She was in a little bit happy mood when her parents started thinking and trying to arrange her marriage with a suitable boy.
Suitable boy means someone who is from a well to do family, educated or at least earns some money to maintain a family.
But it was not easy to find such a boy for a village girl like Anita who is not of a well to do family, looks not beautiful and with no education.
Finally after a long and desparate search by her parents and relatives a boy was found who lost both of his father and mother recently who were also poor even poorer than the parents of Anita.
They left nothing but a small piece of land for their son who hardly make a makeshaft room to live and manage merely two meals a day by selling his hard labor.
Considering all of these the boy cannot be called suitable but more than enough for Anita.
Therefore, in a special moment, special moment especially in life of Anita, they both tied their knot.
Unlike many others Anita came to the house of her parents in-law in a very informal way.
In fact she came to her husband's thatched and broken room with the same dream of a family of her own.
She got not only her family but also a big responsibility to reshape, prosperous and make it happy.
She had to face much difficulties to decide what to do. But finally she decided and made plan.
She knew making plan is not so hard but to implement it she had to wait having long patience, go through hard labour and exhibit wit.
Anita made her mind to do whatever necessary to make her family vibrant and happy.
In a few days after marriage Anita told her husband to give her all money he earns a day as to the money is spent proper way.
Her husband got surprised at first hand but agreed to obey what she said as he found a kind of strength and firmness in her approach.
She started to save some money from what she receives from her husband.
On a certain day after seven months Anita was waiting patiently for the return of her husband from a day long work.
No sooner than the return of her husband she gave him a small amount of money saved from all these days and told to buy a cow.
Though her husband could not understand her intention but a few moments later he realized that Anita has a hidden desire in mind to make our family happy and prosperous. Realisation of this true fact of Anita made him happy.
He did not say anything else but agreed at what she said.
The next day he did not go anywhere but soon after having lunch he left home for a nearby bazaar where different type of cows are available for sale.
By evening he returned home with a calf.
Seing the calf Anita's joy knows no bounds.
With much care Anita started rearing it from that time onward.
In three years time the calf grew up and became an adult cow. In the meantime it gave birth to an oxen.
Anita started counting the days the oxen would grow up enough for sale.
She also started making plan what to do with money she would get after the oxen being sold.
First of all she would buy some materials necessary to make a small cage to keep and rear at least a dozen of chicken as she saw while in parents' house one of their neighbors got much profited by just rearing some chickens.
When the number of chicken increases she would sell some of them in the local markets and with the money she would repair their house.
She also plans to continue rearing cows and chicken through odds, problems or obstacles if come unexpectedly.
It is also included in her plans that when the profit would be a little more they would take a baby and buy a few pieces of lands that they can cultivate and grow different type of crops to be provided themselves with enough food all round the year.
