Introducing myself and my journal

About Me:
With a passion to improve the quality of life for young people and adults, organizations and communities, I have devoted much of my life to transformational education. As a storyteller, visionary leader, social entrepreneur and compassionate communicator, I offer adventure-based workshops that promote anti-violence and peace building, restorative justice and community engagement and wellness. In May 2009, when I experienced a lay-off and became another statistic of our shattered economy, I took a leap of faith and started my own venture: www.HopeRocks.org

Hope Rocks is dedicated to creating a shift in perceptions, attitudes and energy - allowing people to bring meaning to the places they work, learn and live - driven by passion, purpose and commitment. Re-defining our definition of success to include philanthropy, ordinary people become extraordinary stewards for social change.
