About Me:
I AM A KENYAN FEMALE. MARRIED.CHRISTIAN
I HAVE PHYSICAL DISABILITY.

I HAVE FOUNDED MANY DISABILITY ORGANISATIONS (DPOs) in Kenya at the grassroot level to see to it persons with disabilities can easily be reached through organized group.
I am the founder of a national NGO under the name united disability empowerment in Kenya (udek) which ahs been running since June 2004 which is a cross disability organization.

UDEK undertakes empowerment initiatives targeting various categories of disabilities i.e. blind,deaf,albinos,physically challenged, autism among others.

UDEK implements the following programs targeting persons with disabilities:
1. ICT training majoring on adaptive technology
2. Train the hearing and non-hearing persons in Sign language
3: HIV/AIDs
4. Civic Education
5. Voter Education
6. Other capacity building training programmes when opportunities arise.

My standard level of education is - Masters in Business Administration - option Leadership development

My Passions:
To see the voiceless be heard and empowered.

My Challenges:
Limited resources.It has been my dream to set up an ICT resource centre with accomodation facilities which can attract students with disabilities from wide and far..I pray one day the dream will be realised

To see a barrier free society for all
