Senegal, Africa 2013, January

We've returned from 2 weeks in Senegal, Africa where we've been honored with amazing opportunities and offers of partnership in several areas.
This particular campaign focuses on U.N Millennium goals #1 and #3 (poverty and education).
We are anticipating a return trip in April to bring needed supplies and hands-on relief efforts to a school in Dakar. This school educates youth who would not otherwise be able to receive an education. Some are homeless children, some have travelled from countries where girls are not allowed to attend school. We are honored to be welcomed into their community.
In addition, we'll meet with leaders of a children's rescue mission further south.
We are energized, and looking forward to starting the funding campaign to bring our goals to reality!
