Introducing myself and my journal: Global Sistergoods

About Me:
Kristi Jo (KJ) Lewis is the founder and President/CEO of Global Sistergoods (www.globalsistergoods.com), an online marketplace of fair trade products made by women. She spent most of the ‘90s in southern Africa working on women’s rights issues and as a volunteer for the U.S. Peace Corps in Namibia. She moved to Portland in 2001 with her husband David, an artist, and two incorrigible African bush dogs. She has been the recipient of several honors, including a 2008 Portland Business Journal Orchid Award and the Soroptomists International of Portland Making a Difference for Women Award. Her bad habits include talking quite a lot about her amazing infant daughter, Linden Charlotte, and singing off-key.
