My Elevator pitch

My name is Konda Delphine. I am a women’s rights activist and founder of Girls Excel.

Girls Excel is a non-profit promoting access to health education and sanitary supplies for adolescent girls in rural Cameroon.

Did you know that the average girl in Sub-Saharan Africa drops out of school due to lack of sanitary supplies or unwanted pregnancy or even taboos and myths surrounding reproductive health?

At Girls Excel, we work with communities creating girls-led clubs which uses arts and games to educate girls about menstrual and reproductive health while building their confidence and skills as peer educators so that they can pay forward the knowledge gained from these clubs.
