Inspiring words from women

I am currently working on a body of work for an art show i have to put on in March. My theme is the Divine Feminine and the Mother Goddess. My paintings depict a very soft organic perspective of the female figure, exploring symbolism linked with the Great Mother and Devine Feminine. Each painting shows a mother figure, a goddess deifying the female as the nurturer of life. I want the female figures to immortalize and celebrate the female form, to depict the well-known spiritual aspect of the “Divine Feminine” in flesh, as the bond and as the essential balance for our earth. Painting very sexy and “spirit-esque” nude females is my way of illustrating not only how motherhood has changed my life, but elevated my respect for the “Divine Feminine” and the Goddess within all females.
