Introducing myself and my journal: Between two worlds

About Me:
Hello,

I'm not quite sure what to say right away. I was a Peace Corps volunteer in The Gambia in 2003-2005. During that time i found my passion - preventing disease, illness and death. I am currently finishing up my Masters degree and can not wait to get back into the world working directly with people and becoming an agent of change! The world is so beautiful...and there is so much knowledge to share with one another. I hope to start learning here!

My Passions:
Public Health, Loving People, Justice

My Challenges:
public health, loving people, justice

My Vision for the Future:
My vision for the future is one where we focus on how our differences make the world interesting, not how they can be used to create fear.

My Areas of Expertise:
Public health, mother and child health, HIV prevention, capacity building, mental health/substance abuse and HIV prevention integration, the world around me.
