Hello Kris,

It is good to see that you and others are holding the new President accountable to making overdue changes to the inequities of women and men in your country. It is exciting to see that a woman is now in that position, as the perspective of women has been so held back globally. As you so eloquently describe, what she does to create change in old male dominant ways, is what will determine the degree of celebration. I hope she is strong enough to demand the needed shift, and I hope she pays close attention to what you and other women leaders have to offer as suggestions.

Wooow this is good news. She will need all the support that she can get crop her fellow women. It's a new dawn and do she needs all the help. Keep us posted on the progress of the first female president.
