Changing Clothes

I used to change clothes
in Heathrow airport.

I don't cry in airports, I wait until the movie begins.
Sterile white floors with no history of movement
scraped into their surfaces.

I easily forget where I am
who I am when I look down.
The lights make me forget when the sun should arrive.

Coming and going
going and coming
They said, to not see the sun rise, to travel faster
than time is unnatural.

Don’t ask if I am going or coming
where I reside
where my home is
I’ll pretend
I don’t know
