On the way of life we meet many people and among them some leave their marks in our lives. Among those some are known and some unknown, but still we share such a chemistry that it does not matter whether we know each other or not. I firmly believe that you are among those who inspire, encourage and aspire others to move forward. I consider myself lucky to have you in this journey of my life.

Anjana Luitel, 24, from Nepal, student of masters in Human and Natural Resource Studies at Kathmandu University working as a youth activist with a youth organization Yatra. Besides Yatra I am also involved in “Raksha Nepal” working for the women induced into commercial sex work due to a decade long armed conflict. I am actively advocating on women’s issues and I think that through Voices of Future program I will be able to be the voice of many underprivileged women worldwide and help them get justice. It also gives me immense pleasure to inform you that the participants of Voices of Future program from Nepal has initiated to work on providing education to girls in Nepal and has gathered ample number of women in this journey. Through my association with you, I believe we will achieve another milestone by addressing women’s issues collectively at global arena.

I am excited to be your mentee as it will provide me an opportunity to learn and use my knowledge for enhancing lives of thousands of people. I look forward for you to hold my hand and guide me as I embark on fulfilling our dream of women empowerment.
