Death of the political leader

Shailaja Acharya is a common name in Nepalese politics. She was the one who showed black flag to the then King Mahendra during complete autocracy and was jailed for 3 years and then was exiled to India for some years. Today as I heard the news of her death it kept me wondering but we had known the day would come as her health was deteriorating. She is one of the female political leaders of Nepal whom I admire, her courage and her contribution to Nepalese democracy is profound. As she left the world today I have a very deep concern about Nepalese politics that is will our nation ever get the female leader like her or do we have to be confined to her memories. In present day context I do not envision any female political leader like her and it seems that Nepal will face the crisis of charismatic leader like her.

I believe that for the women development it is necessary that women be in the policy making or decision making position or someone who can influence the decision makers and she had that power. Her bravery was acknowledged by various political parties and the progressive congress leader Mr. B.P. Koirala, admired her to a greater extent. But now as she is no more physically present I am worried about the nation as it needs a dynamic female leader who can bring change to thousands of lives.
