I am an Afro-Ascendant woman born and raised in the Bronx. I am a midwife, writer, and reproductive health activist. The focus of my work is the empowerment of women and people of the African Diaspora, specifically discussing the Afro-Latina Identity. I utilize my experience as a birthworker to raise awareness on maternal and infant health for women, highlighting the disparities in the healthcare system in the United States for women of color. I am studying the art of midwifery to continue to advocate for women and their overall well-being. My areas of expertise include Women's Empowerment, the Afro-Latina identity, Birth and Infants, Reproductive Health and Womanhood.
