"VOF Week 3: (Healing through e-talking)".

Since I was a girl I wrote different journals. I write every thought that comes to my mind. Last year I decided to start writing a blog. I decided to take time for myself to develop my personal projects. I had surgery. After that I felt I was a different person, a new me. I wanted to express all the things I kept for myself and say No! No! No! I spent two months in bed and start an e-journal. I must confess that I left it. I had many troubles with the tools and codes.

Blogging has become a phenomenon since the internet was developed. I am still curious to write a blog and experience the benefits and the problems it could carries. I know that creating a blog consumes a lot of time. It takes time to write something interesting and update it every day. I would consider it as a barrier since I teach and use too much time preparing lessons. I do not consider myself an “e-person” although I spend a lot of time on the internet. Lack of significance is another barrier; people are very demanding and in one way or another, my fear of not writing something interesting or fresh for others may distance me a little bit. Expressing what I am is another limit. I tend to dream too much and be very optimistic about changing the world. Sharing with thousands of people my thoughts sometimes leads me to think that people might feel offended or I would be offended.

Among my challenges in starting a blog again are to reach more people and make them aware about social problems and humanity, people need to be healed. And if I want to see more people joining the cause, blogging is a strong tool to transform people´s minds. I would try to establish dialogues and exchange information to promote positive changes; use the power that I have as a woman and take advantage of my sensitivity and my work as an artist to get more people together and strength distance relationships.

Knowing that other people share the same interests and no matter how right and what they write is a motivation to start blogging again. Reading posts from a community such as Pulse Wire where women are not afraid to speak about their thoughts whether they are hard, sweet or brilliant is an inspiration to break the barriers and do what I enjoy to do in notebooks. I think the most important solution is to believe in myself, break mental barriers, show who I am and write from my heart what I want to see in the future. Learning to use the tools is a process that everybody takes and passes, then why should I be afraid of not understanding them?

People talk too much about internet advantages and disadvantages. We should look it with another perspective and use it to create solutions to problems that cannot be solved by human means.
