Jo eating dates at Dubai Mall (1/8)

On the 17th October 2017 my friend and World Pulse Digital Change Maker Joanna Smiejka came to visit me in Dubai and we celebrated Anti-Poverty Week 2017.

We had a great time and she thoroughly enjoyed her first visit to Dubai and the United Arab Emirates. I hope there will be many more!!!

I think we are the only mentor and change maker who have physically met via the World Pulse Advanced Digital Program.

Jo has recently established the first Austim Spectrum Centre.

Heartfelt Congratulations Jo...:)

I am grateful to Jo for recording these interviews in English, Polish and being a great sport at teaching me Polish and learning Urdu.

We hope you will enjoy them as much as we did recording them.

Joanna is a qualified lawyer, behavioural psychologist and Austim Spectrum educator and trainer.

I met Jo online while mentoring for the World Pulse Digital Change Maker Programme February to June 2017.

Joanna is passionate about teaching, travelling and photography.

She hopes to establish the first Austim Spectrum Centre in Warsaw Poland in the near future.

I wish her every happiness and success!

It was a pleasure having you stay with us Jo. We look forward to seeing you again very soon.

Late December 2016 I decided to apply as a World Pulse Change Maker. I sent my application and hoped for the best.

I received a message from the World Pulse team early January 2017 to inform me that I had been selected as a World Pulse Vision Mentor.

I was surprised by their message as I didn't believe I was qualified to mentor anyone.

I said ''YES!''

As they say, the rest is history.

JO is a ''TRUE INSPIRATION'' and would like to share her passion, her teaching to assist children with autism to fulfill their dreams and ambitions.

Unfortunately, autism is an area of education which is under resourced and under funded in her country.

Joanna spent 10 months working abroad with two organisation based in California, US and Wales UK specialising in autism.

Thank you for the kind offer.

I'm recovering from surgery for a rotator cuff on my right shoulder.

Typing is painful.

I've recently been diagnosed with eczema. My hands have been raw and itchy.

I've been thinking about life, its trials and tribulations and the strong women in my life.

Two years yesterday 18th April 2016, my beloved mother Mrs Meshar Mumtaz Bano returned to her maker.

She bravely fought metastatic breast cancer.

I miss her dearly!

Here's my tribute about her.

Love and regards to all cancer patients and their families.

Take good care

Wishing you and yours a wonderful weekend.

You're welcome:)

That does sound painful. What are you doing to heal from it? Have you had Reiki, physical therapy, CBD oil?

Oh, for the eczema, according to Louise Hay's "Heal Your Body A-Z," the probable cause is "breathtaking antagonism, mental eruptions." The new thought pattern or affirmation is, " harmony and peace, love and joy surround me and indwell me, I am safe and secure." I'm not sure if that resonates for you, but I figure it can't hurt. I believe that all or our ailments are caused from unhealed issues or trauma and that we can heal them.

I'm sorry to hear about your mom. She sounds like an amazing woman; just like you. She would be very proud of you.

You take care, too, and keep us posted on your journey, mission and work. Have a great weekend, too!

How wonderful to see you two WorldPulse sisters together in person, and to have these 3 videos to know more about your connection with each other, and to learn more about Joana's work with children with autism. The bonds we are all forming with each other through WorldPulse are such a gift, but having the chance to meet in person is an extraordinary experience. I celebrate your meeting across such great distance, and with the enhanced connection through Mentoring and the Advanced Digital Training that brought you closer together. Thank you for sharing these precious moments, and Joana's important work with us all.

How are you, I hope this message finds you in the best of health and spirits?

Thank you for your kind comments.

I'm pleased you enjoyed watching the videos.

Its taken me a while to edit them.

I actually recorded 5 videos. 4 are attached above.

I'll ask Jo if she is happy for me to publish the video of us teaching one other Polish and Urdu. :)

I'm currently recovering from surgery for a rotator cuff, typing is painful and challenging.

Wishing you a lovely weekend.
