I wish to have adequate reproductive health information, guidance and services to inform my personal health behaviours to protect women in my community from avoidable reproductive health risks. I am a teacher and development worker who likes teaching and facilitating learning from a development perspective. My training and experience has enabled me acquire community mobilization, training and facilitation skills. I use my skills to share knowledge and empower other women. I am inspired by the level of independence that my education has offered me and therefore feel safe in my church, work place and home because I have access to some resources that enable me have more choice. I rely on my friends for advice, because they do not judge me and are often objective in their assessment of issues. I also look for resources on online platforms. I derive encouragement and inspiration spiritually. I intend to use my call centre and online shop as a platform to reach out to women, because from my experience, I understand other women’s struggles, share their pain and challenges and I am willing to lift others to greater possibilities.
