About Me:
Ms Noble is a former trades professional, business owner and manager in the fashion industry transitioning to a peace building and conflict resolution practitioner. BA double major from University of Virginia in International Relation and Religious Studies with a minor in Global Culture and Commerce. MA from American University, School of International Service in International Peace and Conflict Resolution, focusing on women's empowerment and inclusion in peace building and political processes. Region of interest; South Asia, conducted research in Kashmir on women's agency and experience of violent conflict and managed a gender training in Sri Lanka for the Peace building and development Institute in 2010. Ms Noble has also studied Buddhist philosophy with exiled Tibetan community in Dharamsala India and Nepal and undertaken extended solo and group retreats in Buddhist practices. “Strive first to master inner peace, only then can one be truly effective when working for outer peace.”
