Introducing myself and my journal: n/a

About Me:
Iam a lady of 48 years of age un married with two beatiful girls and two grandchildren a female and a male. I was born in a family of four girls but all of them passed away i have lost my parents also, i did my primary school at Blantyre girls primary school and secondary school at Hennery Hendreson Insititute secondary school and i got married to a Mozabiqueamn man after five years in marrage he passed away, the my last born child was one year old and my first born was three years old, i made up my mind not to get married untill my children grow up i did'nt want a man to trouble my children i rearly educated my beatiful girls as iam they are abroad working and the first girl married with two children my last born she is still schooling and working. I worked sever places then i left in 2004 i started doing business of selling produce abroad i did not do well. In 2005 i established an organisation in the name of Women for Fair Development (WOFAD) the organisation is non profit registerered with the Laws of Malawi and affilliated with Malawi Network AIDS Service Organisation (MANASO), Malawi Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS (MANET+) Mal;awi Heath Equity Network (MHEN), Blantyre City Assembly (BCA) Blantyre District Assembly(BDA)etc.

I am a hard working woman as a single parent and a leader of my organisation which is doing well and i am very sraight forward in what ever i do because iam a christian of Chross Life Church and very faithful.

The most successful story is that iam working with women living with HIV/AIDS and those who are HIV negative my main objective is to improve the living standard of women and girls throught ecenomic empowerment, to reduce stigm and discrimination a mong communities through door to door meetings. One to become a member of WOFAD have to be a woman or a girl and have to go for Voluntary Counsellor and Testing (VCT) in so doing anyone is free to become a member of the organisation. The most interesting is that in my catchment area death had been reduced and at list stigma is not as higher as it was was because now every boday knows how HIV is conducted and most people are going to VCT they know their status.
