Introducing myself and my journal: Global Centurion

About Me:
I have spent over 15 years combating human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation of women and children. I founded and directed The Protection Project, a legal research institute at Harvard University (now at Johns Hopkins) that tracked the routes, patterns, and trends in human trafficking, as well as the laws addressing all forms of trafficking. I helped draft and pass the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000, and helped stand up the U.S. State Department's Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons. I advised the Under Secretary for Global Affairs and served as Director of the first inter-agency policy group on trafficking in the U.S. government.

My Passions:
human trafficking, global human rights, reading,

My Vision for the Future:
a place where the dignity of each person is respected and each can grow and unfold to his/her full potential

My Areas of Expertise:
human trafficking, commercial sexual exploitation of women and children
