My perfect little World!

My personal vision for my life, my community and the world;

My personal vision is and has always been to help the sick, since I have failed to attain my Medical Degree, I would love to help those who cannot afford specialised Medical Care, apart from Cancer, there are other rare forms of diseases that need Specialists and most occur amongst the poor. Especially children and women. If I could establish a Clinic that would treat Cancer patients and that would have a special wing for rare form of diseases and the focus be mainly the lower and middle income group. Not that the upper class would not be helped.

My vision for the World is to see, everyone living in comfortable homes, even if they are not palatial, but have bathrooms and running water and water borne sewer and having food, clothing, money to educate their children, peace and justice for those who commit heinous crimes against the vulnerable, a cure for HIV/Aids, Cancer and other chronic diseases. Worthy cause being supported. I would also like to see every girl child educated, have a meaning career, security and less, if at all, illegitimate children. I would prefer them to get married and have healthy family lives, where there is no form of abuse. Where respect is mutual.

I would like there to be no violation of women, being rapes, assaulted, ridiculed or looked down upon. My visoin would be also to see boys being properly raised to be responsible, respecting women and moving away from distractive tendencies like rape, crime, drugs and being turned into hardened war criminals. Much as I advocate women's rights. God created man and woman to co-exist and to multiply, so I would focus also on improving men's behaviour and educate them to being supportive and sensitive to women's needs and not just see them as sexual object, baby makers or use them to satisfy their or prove their macho tendencies.

I would also like for women to abandon children less and to stop under going dangerous abortions. That they may view life a sacred and abort simply because there is a Medical need and not use abortion as preventative measures, that in honesty is cruel. Women were created to be nurturers and not cold hearted, but there is a trend especially in my Country were women conceal pregnancies and later give birth and abandone babies in the veld, pit toilets or in dustbins.

I would like to be a Voice of the Future Correspondent, because I found that, with World Pulse, I could be able to get my personal views out there to a much larger audience than I had ever hoped for. I can be able to write about other people's plight and share the with millions of people across borders. I believe that as Voice of the Future Correspondent, my stories would matter and I hope won't get letters from Editors informing me that, my material is inflammatory and won't be published. There would be someone out there who would take interest in what I have wrote about and if clarity is needed, I would be consulted rather than dismissed. Most of all, I hope that I would be able to get support for my vision and one, two or more good samaritans out there could help me realise my lifelong vision.

I have always had a desire to be able to write, be it journalism, novelist or a magazine, but I have always had a dream of writing. That coupled with being a Medical Doctor, I have always known and proved that, I am more able to write my inner true feelings than verbally communicating them. My thoughts, fly on paper and I am in a better position to reach more people with a written word. I am also an avid reader, I always found that the written word carries more emotions than visual. Most books that I have read and were turned to movies, don't even begin to tell the version of the written word. All one needs do when written, is to let the words flow and not hold back, be factual than fictious and be truthful concise.
