Finding a new voice to speak in

I've been silent here for too long, but I have to say it's because I've been so immersed in this new voice for advocacy that I'm learning to speak in - it's called law school! The more I succumb to the intensity and rigor (and quite often humility of being such a novice who's on one of the steepest learning curves), the more excited and eager I get to speak to the world in this new voice I'm learning how to speak and sing with. I can't wait to finish in three years after doing some clinical work in our International Women's Human Rights clinic, or taking Race and the Law, and be able to sing to the world in my new legalese. How I am learning to see the world so distinctly now...and how to construct legal layers of empowerment for women across our globe.
