GENDER BASED VIOLENCE/LA SITUATION DES ENFANTS ISSUS DES VIOLS



De source de la radio Okapi émettant à Bukavu, 334 enfants issus des viols des femmes en territoire d'Uvira, en province du Sud-Kivu, sont victimes de discrimination, y compris leurs génitrices. Cette discrimination se manifeste sous plusieurs formes, notamment, le rejet par la société. Plusieurs cas des divorces sont observés d'un côté, d'autre côté, certains enfants se voient abandonnés par leurs mères, ce qui entraîne ipso facto plusieurs conséquences liées au manque de scolarisation de ces derniers, les femmes abandonnées à leurs triste sort, la recrudescence des enfants dits communément enfants de la rue, etc...
D'aucun se demande quel sera l'avenir de cette catégorie sociale? Cette situation devrait en principe attirer l'attention de tous les acteurs sociaux en vue d'éviter d'autres conséquences plus néfastes à l'avenir.

Gender Based Violence/Children Born of Rape



According to Radio Okapi out of Bukavu, 334 children born of rape among women in Uvira territory, South Kivu Province, are victims of discrimination, just like their mothers. This discrimination manifests itself in many ways, most notably rejection by society. On the one hand, there are many divorces; on the other, some children are abandoned by their mothers, which in and of itself leads to many consequences linked to a lack of education, women abandoned to their sad fate, an increase in the number of kids generally known as “street urchins,” etc.



What will become of those in this social category? This situation should attract the attention of every social player with an eye to avoid more dangerous consequences in the future.
