Hello Maha,

Welcome to PulseWire and congratulations on the release of your award winning book and DVD. Birthing options can be quite limited for women in Australia (as I'm told by those who have had children).

PulseWire is a great place where members can share ideas and discuss issues that matter. You might be interested in the Mothers Acting Up Group, which exists to inspire and mobilize mothers to advocate on behalf of the world's children. It is available here: www.worldpulse.com/pulsewire/groups/1953

I look forward to hearing more about your life.

Best wishes,

Katie

Welcome to PulseWire, Maha!

I'm so happy to see you here with us. This is the first I've heard of belly dancing as a pre-natal excercise and I love the idea of it! It seems to make so much sense drawing from the creative art of dance to assist the body in another act of creation--birth! I'm looking forward to hearing more about this process of strengthening and about the women with whom you've worked. Also, I can't wait to hear your personal stories, Maha. From what I've read in your introduction, I already know you've been such an amazing bearer of peace in your life. I hope you feel welcome to share with us here on PulseWire. You can write in your journal or comment on others' journal posts to express your feelings on certain issues or to relate your ideas and dreams. If there is anything I can help you with or if you have any particular interests, please let me know and I will try to steer you in the right direction.

Again, welcome. We love having you here. :)

Best wishes,

Emily
