About Me: I am a creative writer who believes strongly in fighting for social justice and using all the skills I have to do so. I am a widow with two daughters(Anne 25, Mary Jane 22) and will finish my Masters Degree in Writing in August 2011. I founded and coordinate the Mordialloc Writers Group and am currently organising the editing and publication of antholology number 8.I belong to the Union of Australian Women and am also the consumer representative on several committees of our local Bayside Community Health Centre. My Passions: social justice and women's rights My Challenges: I am currently fighting breast cancer and had a radical mastectomy October 2010.
